Lazy Day

The best lazy day ever! The Miles fam came over to my parents house to hang out after church. We made chicken on the grill, jumped on the trampoline, played on the swingset, swung on the hammock, and had a generally wonderful time doing absolutely nothing. What a fun day. We washed the cars and ate watermelon and enjoyed beautiful Texas weather in the spring. . .right before it's too hot to be outside unless there is a pool nearby. :-) I have been enjoying the grill this season. I'm blessed that there is always a man or a mom that cooks the food on there, but I've grilled out a lot this year and it's always delicious and fun!
Can I just say that I love my brother. He is one of the coolest kids I know. This pic is totally my favorite one of us taken recently. He is super smart and really well rounded. He's involved in way more stuff then I was as a kid and I'm so proud of him for excelling in all of them. He makes me want to read and to play the piano. I love cheering at his little league games and I'm so glad that Josh and I get to be in Texas for this season so that I get to watch him grow up. He is so funny too! I had a super fun day hanging out with all my favorite kids and I had a beautiful peace that one day (many years from now) I'll have days like that with my kids over at their grandparents house playing and laughing all together.
